FAQ

What is YMBA?+
YMBA is a student-run nonprofit that helps high-school students launch tiny, real businesses in about eight weeks.
Who can join?+
Any motivated high-school student. No prior experience is needed — curiosity and a willingness to learn are enough.
How does the program work?+
Pick a track, attend workshops, and meet mentors. You’ll launch a small project and show it at Demo Day.
Is it a club or incubator?+
It’s a cohort program run by students for students. There’s a start date, check-ins, and a finish line.
How much time does it take?+
Plan for 1–2 hours/week for workshops and check-ins, plus your own build time.
How much does it cost?+
The program is free. We sometimes raise small funds to cover materials and micro-grants.
